Saturday, August 27
We are still in NEED of sponsors & participants. Bake-off, crafts, business expo, sponsors, parade participants, and restaurants for the Sunday event.
- Boy Scouts Pancake Breakfast 8–10 a.m.
- Fire Department Parade starts at 10:30 at Schumann, down Hegel and ends in the Park
- Festival Activities 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Includes: Kid Zone: inflatables, magicians, petting farm, local business expo, dunk tank, crafters, food concessions, kettle corn, robotic demonstrations, student art show, and much more! - Live music throughout the day!
- Craft Show, Saturday (til 5pm) and Sunday (til 3pm)
- Flea Market
- Bake Off – Drop off @ 12noon-1pm, $5.00 per entry/category/division. Portion of the proceeds to benefit the food Bank of Eastern Michigan Ribbons will be awarded and one Grand Prize Winner will receive a $50.00 gift certificate.
- Hometown Idol: auditions between 10 a.m.–1 p.m.; finals 2 p.m.–4 p.m.
- Atlas Fire Department Duck Race, tickets on sale $5 ea Ducks will race at 2pm
- Atlas Fire Department: truck tours of new tanker, hose spraying 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Demonstrations include, Karate, Dance, Physical Therapy and Garden Club
- Free Inflatable Park for the Kids courtesy of the Point Church
- HOGS Bike show. Registration at 10 am and judging at 2pm
- Ladies Historical Museum Tours 9 a.m.–1p.m.
Sunday, August 28 beginning at 1-3 p.m.
Now called! "Picnic in the Park!": Featuring "Rock of Ages Big Band" and a Picnic lunch of pulled turkey sandwich on a brioche roll with red skin potato salad, cole slaw, pickle spear iced tea or lemonade. Tickets are $8.00 by August 27th. or $10.00 at the park the day of the event. Tickets can purchased at Cranberries Cafe.
